In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of theology faculties, the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation's Center for Islamic Studies (İSAM), in collaboration with Istanbul University Faculty of Theology, Ankara University Faculty of Theology, Marmara University Faculty of Theology, and Istanbul 29 Mayıs University Faculty of Theology, will organize an international academic event titled "Theology Faculties in Turkey on Their 100th Anniversary" from October 18 to 20, 2024. The symposium aims to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and ideas about the history, present, and future of theology faculties. It will focus on their historical roots, current status within universities, and visions for the future.
