He was born in Kastamonu. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Istanbul University in 2013. In 2014, he was appointed as a research assistant at the Faculty of Theology at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University. He completed his master’s degree in 2016 at the Institute of Social Sciences of the same university with a thesis titled “Debates on Kasb Between the Muʿtazila and Ashʿarism: The Case of Qāḍī ʿAbd al-Jabbār and Abū al-Qāsim al-Anṣārī.” He received his Ph.D. in 2022 with a dissertation titled “The Theory of Perception in Qāḍī ʿAbd al-Jabbār.” He currently serves as a faculty member at the Faculty of Theology at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University.
