He was born in Şırnak in 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University in 2001. He completed his master’s degree in 2003 at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University, with a thesis entitled "Hasan B. Musa el-Bani'nin Şerhu'l-Hikem İsimli Eserinin Tahkik ve Tahlili". He earned his PhD in 2008 with a dissertation titled "Abdurrezzâk Kâşânî ve Şerhu Fususi'l-Hikem Adlı Eserinin Tahkîk ve Tahlîli". He was appointed Associate Professor in 2015 and Professor in 2021. In 2022, he was appointed Rector of Şırnak University.
